Bata India partners with Authentic Brands Group to manufacture and distribute Nine West footwear and accessories

“We are elated to be partners with Authentic for Nine West, which we admire as a global fashion brand,” said Bata India’s managing director and CEO Gunjan Shah in a press release. “The partnership aligns with our ongoing effort to transform Bata India into a hub of style and innovation at the same time in line with Bata India’s commitment to manufacturing in India. By offering Nine West’s premium collection of women’s footwear and accessories, we are committed to bringing the best of global fashion to our customers.” The move is designed to expand Bata India’s premium product portfolio and cater to the growing demand for branded lifestyle goods in India. US-based brand Nine West retails in 40 countries globally and Bata India plans to leverage its store network to grow the label in India.
